The Beastie Boys have announced on You Tube that they will be canceling their tour due to one of their members having cancer. Adam Yauch, the band's mc, has told youtubers around the world that they will have to cancel the tour due to his recently discovery that he has cancer in his parotid (salivary) gland. Luckily it looks as though he has caught the cancer early enough that it will be treatable but it is something that is still saddening for both fans and the band alike. In the video the band kept things pretty light and avoided making the situation looking very serious at all but I'm sure there is still great concern amoung them.
