Advanced Weaponary: The Smart Rifle

Scientists are finally catching up to the video games that I grew playing. They are working on a weapon that shoots smart bullets that can explode when they are a designated distance away from their target. The technology relies on a laser on the gun that determines the distance of the enemy (or friendly ha ha) target. The operator can then adjust the exploding distance up to 3 meters either way. The smart bullets are then controlled by a radio frequency that tells it when to explode. This will allow the Army to hit difficult targets such as snipers for 15 euros instead of calling in an air strike to drop bombs or napalm. This weapon is still in development for the U.S. Army but things are looking promising, for destruction!
