My New MacBook Pro

I have just received my new MacBook Pro and all I can say is that I love it. I have been a diehard pc guy since 95' and have always sworn by them. I wasn't the typical pc guy who had never used a mac and would still just lash out and hate on them. I have actually been using macs for about as long as I have used pc's, I have just always felt that pc's were superior. Most people are ignorant when they say their Mac is so much better than a pc because they are comparing their $1500 Macbook to a $500 laptop. Not a very fair comparison. I was lucky enough to go to schools where we used Macs to do most of work on so I have become quite familiar with them over the years. I somehow always had the same number of problems using my apple computer as did on my pc so I never understood why people loved macs so much. I also began to like my pc better because I love customizing my desktop to the max. In fact most people had to ask me to use my computer every time they wanted to get online or even listen to music because my desktop was like nothing they had ever seen before! Despite my growing love for my computers, I was forced to purchase my new Macbook Pro for school, even though it went against everything inside of me. Now that I finally own my own mac I am finally beginning to realize what all the hype was about. Everything just works, well, most of the time. Even when things aren't working very smoothly the Mac will usually find a way to fix itself quickly. The software and operating system flow seamlessly with the hardware which really makes for a good experience every time you use it. After having my notebook for about a week now I have come to realize that the software restrictions aren't anything to complain about, which was one of the major things I was worried about. Granted you have less than half of the options for software choices on the Mac, you can still easily find a program that will do what you need it to do. Actually having less software options has been kind of a relief for me! The hardware is pretty nice on the new models, but that is something that I would expect after paying over $2000 for it. Leopard has a lot of nifty little features built in that are sometimes pretty useful in addition to being pretty. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase so far, and I would recommend checking them out if you are looking for a new machine.
